ASIAMARINE appointed as the official dealer of BALI Catamarans in Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam
ASIAMARINE is thrilled to announce that it has been appointed as the official dealer of BALI Catamarans in Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand and Vietnam, effective from 1st June 2020.
Launched in 2014, BALI Catamarans is the latest brand from the reputable CATANA Group in France. The shipyard has experienced exponential growth over the past 6 years, with its manufacturing capacity expanding from 0 to 200 boats per year, and is now firmly established as a world leader in cruising multihulls.
CATANA Group operates two manufacturing plants in France. The BALI Catamarans brand offers a complete and innovative range of seaworthy catamarans ranging from 40 to 54 feet. The range includes both sailing and motor yachts.
BALI Catamarans are particularly notable for their groundbreaking concept, a strong statement that has positioned the brand as the ultimate dream yacht for holidaymakers. Each Bali Catamarans offers more space than any competitor, thanks to the clever use of a solid foredeck and an astute tilting door, resulting in either greater outdoor or greater indoor space.
Eric Noyel, CEO and Founder of ASIAMARINE, was particularly drawn to this concept as it made so much sense. “I never understood why the smaller catamarans offer two small separate indoor and outdoor areas. When the weather is good, you want to be outside; and when the weather is bad, you want to be inside. It never occurs that the weather is good and bad at the same time, so the BALI titling door is really one of the most intelligent features I have seen on a boat for a long time. It simply doubles your available space, 100% of the time.”
With its groundbreaking innovations and the smart utilisation of space, BALI Catamarans has increased its sales from 15 units in 2015 to 140 units in 2019, and has 200 deliveries scheduled for 2020.
ASIAMARINE is delighted to become the official dealer of BALI Catamarans in Hong Kong and Macau, in addition to continuing as the dealer in Vietnam and Thailand since 2019. “With the extraordinary growth of the Catamaran segment and the love for more square footage that our Asian clients share, as well as the substantial inventory available from BALI Catamarans, I think we have found a winner that will please yacht owners in our part of the world. The only issue will be our ability to maintain enough production slots to enable us to deliver on the huge demand,” stated Eric Noyel.
“We are very happy to be expanding our collaboration with Eric Noyel and ASIAMARINE in the general area of South East Asia. Their knowledge of the local markets and their industry knowhow will clearly be an asset for BALI Catamarans in the region,” said Boris Compagnon, Sales Director of the CATANA Group.
To secure the dealership, ASIAMARINE took the bold step of purchasing firm inventory. The first BALI Catamarans will arrive in Hong Kong before the end of the year.
